A Level Photography - Water
This photography was in the style of Ernst Haas, this was a first attempt at photographing ice it worked well when shining light from underneath the ice because when you shined light down onto it the reflections made it hard to see what was in the ice.
To improve this photo it could be more abstract like Haas’ photograph also the clarity and colours are much more vibrant in his.

A Level Photography Exam - Water
This is another photograph I took which I thought was another interpretation of Maruyama’s ‘water scultptures’. I could improve these photos by doing them in a studio environment and using studio lights, also with just a plain background instead of having the glass in it just the water and the movement of it.

A Level Photography Exam - Water
This photograph is a development from the first water droplet I took, this is more of an interpretation of Shinichi Maruyama’s studio based work with water and his ‘water sculptures’ as he incorporated coloured water with ordinary water and the way they met and clashed together which is what I have tried to do here. The quick shutter speed has captured it in good clarity and frozen the water like Maruyama’s water sculptures.

A level Photography exam - Water
I took this photograph because of the droplets and the way you can see the tree through it but by use of depth of field the tree looks like a silhouette.
The photograph of the water droplet I posted before made me want to try other ways of taking photographs of water being dripped or poured. Maybe using different coloured water, a different composition and a different glass it is in.

A2 Photography Exam (water) - This photograph I took was my first attempt at water droplets using a fast shutter speed and using the flash to capture the droplet clearly. It went quite well but could be improved by using a different colour background to effect the colour of the water, also could have been done using studio lighting instead of using a flash as it created a big reflection off the water.

A2 photography exam (water) - This photograph I took shows movement in water which is an interesting thing to look at in the subject of water as well as the addition of people or objects.
